At City, we actively try to encourage all members, both playing and non-playing, to get involved and help umpire games – without umpires, none of us get to have a game!

PLUS, FOR EACH FULL GAME UMPIRED YOU WILL RECEIVE A PAYMENT EQUIVALENT TO A FULL MATCH FEE!

Umpiring can open doors and new levels of hockey to you. You’ll become part of the wider City of Bath umpiring team where you can learn and develop, with coaching and support.

Umpiring can also build your confidence and knowledge of the game, which can really help progress your own hockey ability.

It’s a great way to meet other members of the club and you can choose which games to umpire, men’s or ladies’ hockey, either before or after your own game, to suit your weekend plans.

If you are already qualified umpire, would like to become qualified, can spare some time at weekend to earn a little extra £, or would just like to know more, please contact the Umpire Coordinator for further information.
